This chocolate from Madagascar is close to our hearts. The beans are processed (roast, ground and conched) in their country of origin, rather than being sent to Europe first, which is more often the case. We have a good relationship with the producers and have been out to visit the farms in 2017, something we are happy to chat about at length if you ask! Cocoa is grown by small farmers in the north of the island and then processed in the factory in Antananarivo, where they've been making chocolate since 1940.
