Malagasy cocoa from the Sambirano valley in Madagascar has unique fruity aromas, slightly spicy and a little sharp. The beans are processed (roast, ground and conched) in their country of origin, rather than being sent to Europe first, which is more often the case.
We have a good relationship with the producers and have been out to visit the farms in 2017, making this chocolate from Madagascar one that is close to our hearts.
Our fine chocolate shavings melt into hot milk, for an easy to make luxurious treat.
